January 4, 2025: Acworth, GA 30101 The Praise Academy Lions basketball squad (Powder Springs, GA), was crushed 48-12 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA)
With the victory, Allatoona advances its record to 2-10 on the year. The Buccaneers host Dalton (Dalton, GA) to meet the Catamounts in a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Catamounts enter the battle with a record of 11-3. Dalton won 66-56 in their recent non-league battle against Northview (Johns Creek, GA)
The Lions now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Excel Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Praise Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
