The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), observed Bishop England's basketball team edge Wando by a score of 57-51.

The Battling Bishops (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Seahawks come into the AAAA Region 6 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Hilton Head Island was tipped by Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA), 50-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC) in a AAAAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Wando will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record.
