Indiana High School Basketball - Homestead triumphant over North Central
January 4, 2025: Fort Wayne, IN 46814 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) and the visiting North Central Panthers (Indianapolis, IN), observed Homestead's basketball team overwhelm North Central by a score of 68-36.
The Spartans (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN). The Archers come into the Summit challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Fort Wayne South Side was routed by Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN), 62-18, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Ben Davis Giants (Indianapolis, IN) in a Metropolitan challenge, on Friday, January 10. North Central will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Giants come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 57-36 non-league win over Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN).
