January 4, 2025: Gilbert, AZ 85296 Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Copper Canyon moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Westview (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 8. The Knights come into the test with a record of 8-3. Westview won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Marana (Tucson, AZ)
The Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Crismon for a non-league test on Thursday, January 9. Gilbert Christian will clash with a Rattlers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-7.
