In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored a good 44-27 triumph over the Charleston Trojans.

In their next game, the Railsplitters meet the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a Apollo match, on Friday, January 7. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 50-36 non-league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL).
