The Westview Wolverines basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Orange Glen Patriots to 19 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Carmel for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7. Westview will battle a Sundevils team coming off a 73-68 non-league win over Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 3-3.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA). The White Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Escondido Charter triumphed over Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA), 63-20, in a league contest.
