January 5, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 58-56 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Chargers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Los Alamos got by Lovington (Lovington, NM), 55-33, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Espanola Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Capital will encounter a Sundevils squad coming off a 58-30 non-league loss to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 2-12.
