Tennessee High School Basketball - Loretto thwarts Hardin County
January 5, 2023: Loretto, TN 38469 The Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Hardin County Tigers (Savannah, TN), 63-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Summertown (Summertown, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Summertown went down by Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN), 66-56, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Winfield for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Hardin County will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 63-43 league loss to Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 9-8.
