The Mapleton Mounties basketball team (Ashland, OH), was overwhelmed 49-7 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH)

The Roughriders now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crestview for a Firelands battle on Saturday, January 14.
