Utah High School Basketball - Non Varsity Opponent crushes Monument Valley
January 5, 2023: Monument Valley, UT 84536 Non Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT), 78-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Non Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 57-144 on the season. The travel to West Plains (West Plains, MO) to play the Zizzers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Zizzers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. West Plains lost 53-45 in their recent league bout against Glendale (Springfield, MO)
Next up, the Cougars play the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) in a 1A Region 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Monument Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 57-54 league loss to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT).
