Colorado High School Basketball - Jefferson can't hold off Denver West
January 5, 2023: Denver, CO 80204 The Denver West Cowboys basketball team scored 1 points and held the visiting Jefferson Saints to 0 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cowboys now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinkley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Denver West will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 58-16 non-league loss to Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-2.
The Saints (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against DSST: Montview (Denver, CO). The Knights enter the contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, DSST: Montview nudged Lake County (Leadville, CO), 58-14, in a league contest.
