The Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) basketball nipped the host Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), 39-35 in Thursday's league test.

The Barons (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA). The Sea Kings go into the Surf test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Corona del Mar got by Marina (Huntington Beach, CA), 56-43, in a non-league test.
