Iowa High School Basketball - Shenandoah nudges Fremont-Mills
January 5, 2023: Shenandoah, IA 51601 Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA), 45-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shenandoah upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Glenwood (Glenwood, IA) to clash with the Rams in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, January 6. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Glenwood won 69-68 in their recent league bout against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Knights clash with the Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Fremont-Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 63-21 league loss to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA).
