The Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host The Burlington School Spartans to 34 in the Fighting Pharaohs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Pharaohs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Quality Education Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-31 league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.

The Spartans (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Furies enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Forsyth Country Day triumphed over Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC), 48-10, in a non-league contest.
