Virginia High School Basketball - King & Queen Central ripped by Northampton
January 5, 2023: Eastville, VA 23347 The Northampton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 18 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Northampton will battle a Dukes team coming off a 26-24 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 1-4.
The Royal Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Northumberland triumphed over Middlesex (Saluda, VA), 45-29, in a non-league contest.
