The Scotland Fighting Scots basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 28 in the Fighting Scots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.

The Rams (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, South View was defeated by Lumberton (Lumberton, NC), 59-53, in a league contest.
