Next, the Gladiators face the Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 9. Marquez will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 8-0 league win over Whitney (Cerritos, CA).
The Monarchs now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Animo Robinson will face a Rough Riders team coming off a 2-2 non-league Animo Bunche (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 4-5.
