Ohio High School Basketball - Alliance can't hold off West Branch
January 5, 2024: Beloit, OH 44609 The West Branch Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Alliance Aviators to 51 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollton for a Eastern Buckeye contest on Tuesday, January 9. West Branch will battle a Warriors team coming off a 45-41 league win over Salem (Salem, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
The Aviators (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Minerva (Minerva, OH). The Lions enter the Eastern Buckeye contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Minerva was nudged by Marlington (Alliance, OH), 65-56, in a league contest.
