January 5, 2024: Fairview, MI 48621 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairview Eagles (Fairview, MI) and the visiting Au Gres-Sims Wolverines (Au Gres, MI), saw Fairview's basketball squad wallop Au Gres-Sims by a tally of 69-48.
With the victory, Fairview improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI) to confront the Thunderbolts in a North Star challenge on Monday, January 8. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Hillman Tigers (Hillman, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Au Gres-Sims will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 67-65 non-league win over St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI).
