Louisiana High School Basketball - Georgetown trounces Berchmans Academy
January 5, 2024: Georgetown, LA 71432 The Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), 74-21 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Dodson (Dodson, LA). The Panthers go into the C District 2 test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Dodson was trounced by Monterey (Monterey, LA), 68-12, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host False River for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. Berchmans Academy will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 71-47 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA). The Gators record now stands at 6-12.
