The Bob Hope Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Veritas Classical Academy Lions to 50 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evadale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Deweyville (Deweyville, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
