The Dixie Hornets basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes to 50 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitmire for a A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Dixie will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 57-54 league loss to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-8.
