New Jersey High School Basketball - Camden Catholic tops Kingsway
January 5, 2024: Woolwich Township, NJ 08085 Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Kingsway Dragons (Woolwich Township, NJ), 63-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Camden Catholic upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ) to play the Eagles in a Olympic - National bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Paul VI lost 59-40 in their recent non-league bout against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ)
Next up, the Dragons play the Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ) in a Tri-County - Royal bout, on Monday, January 8. Kingsway will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 45-36 league loss to Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ).
