Washington, DC High School Basketball - Capital City Public Charter School overwhelmed by Model Secondary School for the Deaf
January 5, 2024: Washington, DC 20002 The Capital City Public Charter School EAGLES basketball team (Washington, DC), was routed 76-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC)
The Eagles now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandy Spring Friends for a Potomac Valley battle on Monday, January 8. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will battle a Wildebeests team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL). The Wildebeests record now stands at 10-5.
The EAGLES (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC). The come into the PCSAA A battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, E.L. Haynes was routed by Parkside (Washington, DC), 66-22, in a non-league battle.
