In Friday's non-league outing, the Collins Tigers (Collins, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS), by a margin of 66-63.

The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Jefferson Davis County got by Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS), 65-64, in a league outing.
