Georgia High School Basketball - Columbia overwhelms McNair

January 5, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30316

Spectators at Friday's league test between the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) and the host McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), witnessed Columbia's basketball squad crush McNair by a margin of 79-50.

The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Elite Scholars Academy (Jonesboro, GA). The Royal Knights go into the AA Region 5 test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Elite Scholars Academy was trounced by Callaway (Hogansville, GA), 60-47, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Redan for a AA Region 5 test on Saturday, January 6. McNair will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 64-61 league win over Towers (Decatur, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-7.
