Virginia High School Basketball - Eastern View overwhelms Spotsylvania
January 5, 2024: Spotsylvania, VA 22553 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) and the host Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA), saw Eastern View's basketball squad wallop Spotsylvania by a count of 81-48.
With the victory, Eastern View upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a Battlefield challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Culpeper County lost 78-46 in their recent league challenge against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA)
Next up, the Knights play the King George Foxes (King George, VA) in a Battlefield challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Spotsylvania will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Foxes come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 63-55 league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA).
