Indiana High School Basketball - Fairfield nips Eastside
January 5, 2024: Goshen, IN 46526 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairfield Falcons (Goshen, IN) and the visiting Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN), saw Fairfield's basketball squad hold off Eastside by a tally of 50-47.
With the victory, Fairfield improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Churubusco (Churubusco, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Churubusco lost 66-51 in their recent league challenge against Fremont (Fremont, IN)
Next up, the Blazers play the Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Eastside will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 54-52 league loss to Tinora (Defiance, OH).
