Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Old Forge overwhelms Elk Lake
January 5, 2024: Old Forge, PA 18518 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) and the visiting Elk Lake Warriors (Dimock, PA), saw Old Forge's basketball squad wallop Elk Lake by a tally of 65-34.
With the victory, Old Forge improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Riverside (Taylor, PA) to confront the Vikings in a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Monday, January 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Riverside lost 68-60 in their recent league challenge against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Elk Lake will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 66-18 league win over Mountain View (Kingsley, PA).
