New York High School Basketball - Finney tops Rochester Academy
January 5, 2024: Penfield, NY 14526 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Finney Falcons (Penfield, NY) and the visiting Rochester Academy Racers (Rochester, NY), saw Finney's basketball squad knock off Rochester Academy by a tally of 80-72.
With the victory, Finney improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Bolivar-Richburg won 63-54 in their recent league challenge against Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY)
Next up, the Racers play the Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter Hornets (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Rochester Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
