Michigan High School Basketball - Saline nudges Flat Rock
January 5, 2024: Saline, MI 48176 Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Flat Rock Rams (Flat Rock, MI), 57-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Saline upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Hornets host Dexter (Dexter, MI) to clash with the Dreadnaughts in a Southeastern - Red bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Dreadnaughts go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Dexter won 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Woodward (Toledo, OH)
Next up, the Rams clash with the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) in a Huron bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Flat Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons/Kestrels go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Bedford (Temperance, MI).
