Texas High School Basketball - Lampasas nips Glen Rose
January 5, 2024: Glen Rose, TX 76043 Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX), 46-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lampasas upgrades its record to 19-4 on the season. The Badgers host Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Marble Falls lost 71-65 in their recent non-league bout against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX) in a 4A Region I District 6 bout, on Friday, January 12. Glen Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record.
