California High School Basketball - Grant winner over Liberty

January 5, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93312

The Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) basketball felled the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), 72-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lancers (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the East Valley test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Poly was beaten by Maranatha (Pasadena, CA), 64-37, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Garces Memorial for a South Yosemite - River test on Wednesday, January 10. Liberty will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 67-62 non-league loss to South (Bakersfield, CA). The Rams record now stands at 10-8.
