Tennessee High School Basketball - Lausanne Collegiate falls to Mount Vernon

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs basketball team scored a good 69-50 triumph over the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) in a A D1 Region 6 match, on Tuesday, January 9. Mount Vernon will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 5-11 record after their 66-51 non-league loss to Marist (Atlanta, GA).

With the defeat, Lausanne Collegiate moves to 2-7 on the year. The Lynx travel to Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN) to meet the Phoenix in a non-league match on Saturday, January 6. The Phoenix enter the match with a record of 7-2.
