Loving Falcons (Loving, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), 55-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loving upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Falcons travel to Wink (Wink, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Wink lost 44-22 in their recent non-league bout against Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX)

Next up, the Colts clash with the Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. New Mexico Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 78-21 non-league loss to Jal (Jal, NM).
