January 5, 2024: Marlboro, NJ 07723 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) and the host Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ), saw Rumson-Fair Haven's basketball squad hold off Marlboro by a tally of 43-42.
With the victory, Rumson-Fair Haven improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) to confront the Lancers in a Shore A - Central challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. St. John-Vianney won 60-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Point Pleasant Boro (Point Pleasant, NJ)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Marlboro will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Caseys come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 60-53 non-league win over Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ).
