January 5, 2024: Accident, MD 21520 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) and the visiting Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA), saw Northern's basketball squad wallop Rockwood by a tally of 66-27.
With the victory, Northern improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD) to confront the Sentinels in a Appalachian challenge on Monday, January 8. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Fort Hill won 69-40 in their recent league challenge against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) in a Inter County - West challenge, on Monday, January 8. Rockwood will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 85-55 non-league win over Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).
