Ohio High School Basketball - Marietta tops Fort Frye
January 5, 2024: Marietta, OH 45750 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) and the visiting Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH), saw Marietta's basketball squad knock off Fort Frye by a tally of 42-28.
With the victory, Marietta improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host River Valley (Bidwell, OH) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Cadets play the Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Fort Frye will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
