January 5, 2024: Temecula, CA 92592 Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA), 61-55 in a league bout.
With the victory, Great Oak upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Chaparral (Temecula, CA) to play the Pumas in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Pumas come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Chaparral won 74-21 in their recent league bout against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA)
Next up, the Broncos play the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Vista Murrieta will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Nighthawks come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 57-36 non-league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA).
