Nebraska High School Basketball - Seward knocked off by Beatrice
January 5, 2024: Seward, NE 68434 The Beatrice Orangemen basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Seward Bluejays to 50 in the Orangemen non-league triumph on Friday.
The Orangemen now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearney for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Beatrice will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 62-25 non-league win over Grand Island (Grand Island, NE). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-4.
The Bluejays (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Broken Bow ran past McCook (McCook, NE), 64-23, in a non-league contest.
