Oklahoma High School Basketball - Duncan can't hold off Choctaw
January 5, 2024: Choctaw, OK 73020 The Choctaw Yellowjackets basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Duncan Demons to 40 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Choctaw will battle a Eagles team coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
The Demons (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Elgin, OK). The Owls come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Elgin was nudged by Weatherford (Weatherford, OK), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
