Tecumseh Indians (Tecumseh, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), 55-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tecumseh upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Southeastern - White bout on Friday, January 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Chelsea won 57-47 in their recent non-league bout against Northwest (Jackson, MI)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Napoleon Pirates (Napoleon, MI) in a Cascades bout, on Monday, January 8. Columbia Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 48-25 non-league loss to Onsted (Onsted, MI).
