January 5, 2024: Linesville, PA 16424 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) and the visiting Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), saw Conneaut Area's basketball squad overcome Sharon by a tally of 47-33.
With the victory, Conneaut Area improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cochranton (Cochranton, PA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Cochranton won 56-45 in their recent league challenge against Saegertown (Saegertown, PA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Sharon will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 35-24 league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA).
