Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian crushes Kalamazoo Christian
January 5, 2024: Kalamazoo, MI 49008 Covenant Christian Chargers (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI), 68-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Reed City (Reed City, MI) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Reed City won 43-37 in their recent non-league bout against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
Next up, the Comets play the Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Kalamazoo Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 51-29 non-league loss to Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI).
