January 5, 2024: Fort Myers, FL 33919 St. Brendan Sabres (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cypress Lake Panthers (Fort Myers, FL), 42-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Brendan upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Sabres host Monsignor Pace (Miami, FL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Monsignor Pace won 60-49 in their recent non-league bout against Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee, FL)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Marco Island Academy Rays (Marco Island, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Cypress Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Rays go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 30-29 non-league loss to Southwest Florida Christian (Fort Myers, FL).
