California High School Basketball - Freedom tops Mission San Jose

Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA), 51-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a Bay Valley bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 7-8. Liberty won 75-30 in their recent non-league bout against Granada (Livermore, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the American Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a Mission Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mission San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 63-47 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Danville, CA).
