California High School Basketball - Gilroy crushes San Jose
January 5, 2024: Gilroy, CA 95020 Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Jose Bulldogs (San Jose, CA), 58-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gilroy upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Harbor lost 54-15 in their recent league bout against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a Blossom Valley - West Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 9. San Jose will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 55-26 non-league loss to San Mateo (San Mateo, CA).
