Fans at Friday's non-league test between the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX) and the host Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX), witnessed Valor Preparatory Academy's basketball squad topple Morgan by a margin of 42-31.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Methodist Children's Home (Waco, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Methodist Children's Home went down by Evant (Evant, TX), 52-6, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Springs for a 1A Region III District 20 test on Tuesday, January 9. Morgan will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 39-30 league win over Iredell (Iredell, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.
