Our Lady of the Elms Panthers (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Vikings (Akron, OH), 40-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Our Lady of the Elms upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Martin de Porres (Cleveland, OH) to clash with the Lions in a Lake Effect bout on Thursday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Garfield Rams (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 62-42 non-league loss to Normandy (Parma, OH).
