January 5, 2024: Chapel Hill, NC 27514 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Raleigh Charter Phoenix (Raleigh, NC) and the host Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC), saw Raleigh Charter's basketball squad wallop Woods Charter by a tally of 50-17.
With the victory, Raleigh Charter improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Princeton (Princeton, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Princeton lost 53-32 in their recent non-league challenge against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Woods Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
